My family settled in Clarksville, TN during my high school years, where I was a two sport athlete at Clarksville High School, participating in football and baseball. After high school, I attended Austin Peay State University, a small Division I school in Clarksville, TN, where I was a 4 year letter winner at Quarterback on the football team. After college, I pursued a career in college coaching for the next seven years, coaching football and baseball 1 year at Division III United States Merchant Marine Academy, then followed by 3 year stops at both The University of Alabama-Birmingham and Tennessee Tech University, both NCAA Division I institutions. I coached every position on the offensive side of the ball, except for Offensive Line, during this time. During my time at Tennessee Tech, I was also the program's Recruiting Coordinator. This is where my relationship with Sportsworx began, getting acquainted with Tim Livingston through the recruiting process. The company stood out from the other recruiting services that were out there, and when the oppurtunity came to join in an advisor role, I knew it would be a great oppurtunity for myself and my family.

Upon high school graduation, I was accepted into Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, FL. They have a girls basketball team, so I thought I could just walk on and try out. I did, and yes, they did offer me a partial scholarship, but the Army offered me a full scholarship. I took the Army scholarship and gave up my dreams of playing sports at the next level. I got my degree in Sports Management and entered the Army. After three years of service, I decided to become a stay-at-home mom and focus on raising my family. I became a personal trainer while stationed in TN. With my husband still in the Army, we moved frequently. We have two boys, one who just graduated from Bloomingdale High School. He's played soccer most of his life. He was on a select soccer team and played for his high school. He wanted to play soccer in college, but we didn't have a game plan. I didn't know how to go about getting him to that next level. College sports are tougher to get into now than when I went to school. I found SportsWorx after my oldest son graduated. My husband and I listened to a presentation given to a baseball team by Tim Livingston and we knew we found a good thing. I love working with youth (volunteered for many years as a youth soccer coach, a youth basketball coach and a youth leader in various churches). I was looking for a business for me in the sports industry, and am excited to have found SportsWorx.
