In 1986 he relocated and played for the University of South Florida, graduating in 1990. After a successful career in corporate America, and high school coaching, he launched a new career at SportsWorx. His passion for helping high school athletes is what drives him on a daily basis. As a regular contributor to the Brighthouse Sports Network and several other media outlets, Tim strives to get his message out about what it takes to be successful and how athletics can prepare you to become a professional in life.

Keba Phipps Office Phone: 813-931-5276 Email: kphipps@sportsworx.com Keba Phipps, a two time U.S. Volleyball Olympian, was the youngest member of the U.S. Olympic volleyball team in 1988, holding the position of outside hitter. Keba Phipps returned to the US National team in 2001 to make the U.S. Olympic Volleyball team after refusing several invitations over the years. Keba produced immediate results at the 2002 Worlds competition, ranking seventh of all competitors (and first on the U.S. team) in spiking percentage. She was a key element of the team's block, its best weapon. Due in part to Keba's stellar play, the U. S. won its first ten games in the tournament and advanced to the gold medal final against Italy. Records show it was the best performance the women had at a World Championship since 1967, when it placed second for the silver medal. Keba missed the final because of an eye injury, and the U.S. lost, 3-2. Keba went on to help the U.S finish third at the 2003 World Cup to qualify for Athens. With Keba as its most experienced player, the U.S. finished 5th at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In between her Olympic stints, Keba played professionally for 13 seasons for the Italian pro league. They named her Most Valuable Player in 1991 and she has earned several other honors and championships while playing abroad. Currently, Keba has her own Youth Volleyball Club practicing out of the Campo Family YMCA, Valrico, Florida: KP Elites. These young groups of girls are new to the competitive volleyball arena and have proven to be a very cohesive, talented group of athletes. Keba is also the newest member of the SportsWorx Advisory Board, a position she accepted because of her commitment to helping young student-athletes find the dedication and discipline to maximize the opportunities presented through athletic competition and academic excellence.

Upon high school graduation, I was accepted into Florida Southern College, in Lakeland, FL. They have a girls basketball team, so I thought I could just walk on and try out. I did, and yes, they did offer me a partial scholarship, but the Army offered me a full scholarship. I took the Army scholarship and gave up my dreams of playing sports at the next level. I got my degree in Sports Management and entered the Army. After three years of service, I decided to become a stay-at-home mom and focus on raising my family. I became a personal trainer while stationed in TN. With my husband still in the Army, we moved frequently. We have two boys, one who just graduated from Bloomingdale High School. He's played soccer most of his life. He was on a select soccer team and played for his high school. He wanted to play soccer in college, but we didn't have a game plan. I didn't know how to go about getting him to that next level. College sports are tougher to get into now than when I went to school. I found SportsWorx after my oldest son graduated. My husband and I listened to a presentation given to a baseball team by Tim Livingston and we knew we found a good thing. I love working with youth (volunteered for many years as a youth soccer coach, a youth basketball coach and a youth leader in various churches). I was looking for a business for me in the sports industry, and am excited to have found SportsWorx.
